Working in the veterinary field is always what I have wanted to do I was fortunate enough to gain a position with City Line as a kennel attendant in 2017. Eventually, I was able to take on the task of managing the Kennels department and then working in our treatment area as a veterinary assistant. I still cannot picture myself doing anything else!
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
A red panda because they are adorable and would likely be very mischievous and funny to have around.
Do you currently have any pets? What type and what are their names?
My 3 very best friends include my: 2 red dachshunds named Sophie and Coco; and a domestic shorthair named Maci Mae.
What is your favorite thing about working with animals?
My favorite thing about working with animals is when I know I have helped improve their quality of life, as well as ease the worry of the pet parent that loves them. I also really enjoy how veterinary medicine is a ‘team sport’, having an awesome team of veterinary professionals to share the successes with makes them that much sweeter.
