Canine Massage Therapist

Biography

Inspired by my heart dog Kenai, I began my canine massage journey in 2017. I studied at the Chicago School of Canine Massage, became Nationally Certified through NBCAAM, and continued to study through the Northwest School of Animal Massage. I am also a PetTech Pet First and CPR Instructor.

If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
Given the choice, I’d bring my heart dog back in a minute. I’d give anything to have my travel partner by my side again. Part black lab, husky, and a little wolf-t, my big black dog was the best of everything.

Do you currently have any pets? What type and what are their names?
I have two cats, Bugg and Oliver Rose, one dog named River, and a turtle named Simon.

What is your favorite thing about working with animals?
My favorite thing about canine massage is how it can bridge the communication gap between pet and parent. Through a dogs’ body language, soft tissue, mobility and tension, I can help give words to their feelings and experience often improving their lives on a very intimate level.
