Renee is a student at Augustana and is starting vet school in the fall of 2026! Renee has traveled to Costa Rica twice to work at an exotic rescue center because she is passionate about helping the voiceless who have no one else to advocate for them. She loves working with both small animals and exotics.
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be and why?
Otter, I love working with them at the zoo. They are so friendly and super cute and cuddly

I have two cats: Rosie is an all white domestic shorthair and ZooZoo is a brown tabby
What is your favorite thing about working with animals?
I love working with dogs and cats and seeing all of their unique personalities. Each species and breed is different and I love seeing that every time I am at work.
