Kyla began her journey in veterinary medicine at Black Hawk College East where she earned her AAS in Veterinary Technology. She passed the VTNE in 2020 and has been our CVT/lead veterinary technician since 2021.
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
She would have otters because they are adorable when they swim around. She could watch them play all day.
Do you currently have any pets? What type and what are their names?
She has 2 pitbulls named Dewey & Dre, a 3 legged chihuahua named Dante and 3 cats named Arlo, Irie and Cole
What is your favorite thing about working with animals?
I love building relationships with patients and clients. My favorite part of working with animals is seeing them recover from illness and reunite with their loving family members.
