Vaccination Requirements Before Grooming
Before you schedule your pet’s grooming visit with us, check to see if they’re current on their vaccinations. Cats and dogs should be up-to-date on the following:
Dogs
- DHPP (Distemper)
- Rabies
- Bordetella – required every 6 months
- Influenza (H3N8 and H3N2)
- Negative fecal test within last 12 months
Cats
- FVRCP (Distemper)
- Rabies
- 6-month Bordetella
- Negative fecal test within last 12 months OR
- Up-to-date on annual deworming
If your pet is not current, we can vaccinate them at time of drop-off. Also be sure to consider what grooming services your pet will need—do they need a bath and brush-out only, or would they also benefit from a nail trim and ear plucking?
